LEWISTON — Due to a rain forecast and the potential for wet conditions, Lewis-Clark State College will move its three commencement ceremonies, originally scheduled to be held outdoors at Harris Field, inside the center of P1FCU activities this Friday (May 13). College administrators announced the decision on Wednesday.
There will still be three ceremonies, one for each of the LC State schools, and they will be held at previously scheduled times:
- 9:00 a.m. – Vocational and technical education (Technical & Industrial Divisions and Business Technology & Service)
- Noon – Liberal Arts and Sciences (Physical Life, Movement and Sports Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences Divisions)
- 3:00 p.m. – Professional Studies (Business and Computing, Nursing and Health, and Teacher Education and Mathematics Divisions)
The event is open to the general public and will also be streamed live. Updated details and broadcast information will be posted on www.lcsc.edu/graduation.
Lewis-Clark State will award 823 degrees and certificates during the ceremonies. Of the 715 graduates, nearly 500 are expected to walk.
