“Demon Slayer” schedule of activities in September apparently leads to announcement of Season 2 release date

Season 2 of “Demon Slayer” is one of the highly anticipated anime releases this year, following the franchise’s worldwide box office success. While it’s not yet confirmed that the anime will launch its second season in October, it looks like the franchise’s timeline this month leads to the announcement of the anime’s supposed release date.

The official website of the anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” announcement five special compilations from the anime’s hit first season with new footage on Monday. He also revealed the release schedule for the special compilations on Fuji TV, which will debut with The Sibling’s Bond Arc on September 11.

It will be followed by the Asakusa Arc on September 12, the Suzumi Mansion Arc on September 18, the Mount Natagumo Arc on September 19, and the Hashira Meeting / Butterfly Mansion Arc on September 23. The Asakusa Arc and Tsuzumi Mansion Arc specials will feature key new visuals, end credits scenes, eye-catchers, and episode previews.

Meanwhile, The Sibling’s Bond, Mt. Natagumo Arc, and The Hashira Meeting / Butterfly Mansion Arc promotions will feature a trailer for a new Ufotable project. The airing of these special animations would lead to the televised premiere of the phenomenal box office film, “Demon Slayer-Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train,” which is scheduled for September 25.

Recall that a Twitter user with the name DemonSlayerSc has already revealed the TV premiere of “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” in July. In addition to releasing new details, the tipster also said that the announcement of the “Demon Slayer” Season 2 release date could take place on September 25.

Many sites reported in February that the second season of the long-awaited anime could premiere in October. Unfortunately, this window is not official because Ufotable has yet to reveal the specific launch date for the anime. What the Japanese animation company has confirmed so far is that the second season of the anime is coming this year.

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” Season 1 premiered in April 2019. The animated series, which is an adaptation of the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge, also streams on Hulu, Crunchyroll, Funimation and Netflix.
